If you’re not familiar with georgette, it’s essentially a heavy weight chiffon. I generally find georgette easier to work with than chiffon because it’s not as float-y or wiggly. The background is a lovely off-white. The pattern in black reminds me of a herringbone. And there are cheerful small scattered dots of bright turquoise and hot pink. It would make a fantastic shell blouse. Or perhaps a fun sleep top. Or use in combination with other fabrics.

Lots of silk fabric is washable. Test wash a swatch to check for color bleeding and changes in the texture and hand of the fabric.
