My classes offer sewers of all experience levels the opportunity to take a comprehensive look into particular aspects of sewing and design. I teach in several formats: shorter classes and lectures (Daylongs), in-depth classes (Intensives), and workshops centered around a particular topic or in which you choose your own focus.
I most often teach Intensives and Workshops at my studio in the Sparks/Hunt Valley area, part of the larger Baltimore metropolitan area. For details about studio information, student sewing machines, accommodations, and visiting the area, please see Studio and Travel Info. I try to offer classes in other locations across the country several times a year.
I hope you'll join me for a class. You will integrate new information with the skills you've already mastered, in the company of others passionate about garment sewing. The atmosphere is welcoming, encouraging, and non-competitive, enabling your creativity to grow and flourish.
I welcome inquiries about having me teach for your group or organization.
