My classes offer sewers of all experience levels the opportunity to take a comprehensive look into particular aspects of sewing and design. I teach in several formats: shorter classes and lectures (Daylongs), in-depth classes (Intensives), and workshops centered around a particular topic or in which you choose your own focus.
I most often teach Intensives and Workshops at my studio near Hunt Valley, part of the larger Baltimore metropolitan area. For details about studio information, student sewing machines, accommodations, and visiting the area, please see Studio and Travel Info. I try to offer classes in other locations across the country several times a year.
I hope you'll join me for a class. You will integrate new information with the skills you've already mastered, in the company of others passionate about garment sewing. The atmosphere is welcoming, encouraging, and non-competitive, enabling your creativity to grow and flourish.
I welcome inquiries about having me teach for your group or organization.
