This is a gorgeous basket weave fabric. It’s on the lighterweight side of mid-weight, and it has a bit of structure without being stiff, nor limp. The red color is sumptuous — what some would call a true red, and to my eye has a pinky-orange undertone to it. While the fabric is definitely not shiny, it does have a understated and sophisticated luster. It would make a knockout-beautiful dress or jacket, or a skirt — or take it casual with a pair of shorts or culottes / gauchos.
