The somewhat geometric / somewhat floral printed motif on this cotton batiste is delightful. The ground is soft white, and the colors in the motif are pink and red, which are both blue-based colors with no orange undertone. Like many batiste fabrics, it’s considered semi-sheer, but if you wore nude colored under garments, they wouldn’t be visible. The fabric is soft — feels great against the skin and not stiff. It would make a wonderful blouse, and because of the softness, you could easily use gathered or ruffled details. There’s enough fabric that you could make a fuller skirt as well, and perhaps even a dress. Pre-washed.
