Like many bouclé fabrics, this one has a wonderful mixture of fibers, giving it a charming texture. It is lightweight — textured doesn’t mean bulky — and it has a bit of drape to it. It’s ideal for a French-style jacket, but don’t limit your thinking to that just because this type of bouclé is often used for one. Rather than going the “classic” route, make a cozy funnel neck top, or even turn it in the direction of a sweatshirt. The colors are browns, off-whites, beiges, and honey. Already I’m thinking of a contrasting collar or hood in a soft scrunchy fabric!
