This light beige and brown cross-woven doupioni is lovely. It has wonderful slubs — to my eye, part of what makes doupioni so interesting and beautiful. There’s not a lot of fabric, but this would make a fantastic shell blouse, or vest, or shorts, or use it as garment elements such as a collar and cuffs. Please read the following note if you’re not familiar with silk doupioni.

Silk doupioni is one of my favorite fabrics — it’s crisp without being stiff; it’s very lightweight; it’s completely stable in the cross grain as well as the length of grain, so pattern pieces can be laid out in either direction; it’s easy to sew since it’s not slippery and drapey as many other silks are. It can be washed, although it will soften a good deal, and it might lose some of it’s color. I love using it for facings because of its crispness and how lightweight it is, and I often use Bi-Stretch Lite or Envy Silk as interfacing with it.
