This is a gorgeous border print! The soft pink background has a slight peach undertone to it. The floral print has a wonderful variety of pinks, reds, greens, and a little blue. While I think it is a striking border print, the overall effect is quiet and soft. The fabric is a lightweight, with soft structure. Pre-washed.

I love working with border prints — where to use the border?!? It’s often used at the lower edge of a garment, but I’ve often flipped that so the print is up near the face and the solid is at the bottom. But you can also cut it up — e.g., make a lantern sleeve where the upper part is solid and the lower “lantern” part is the print. Or use the print for the collar, cuff, and front band of a shirt. Whatever you choose, have fun being creative!
