I think there’s an old-fashioned charm to eyelets. The floral print that is used in combination with the embroidery and eyelet motifs gives this one a nice level of sophistication, which means it could be used as an adult garment just as well as a little girl’s dress. The background is pale blue, with embroidery close to the same color but it shows up nicely because of the thread’s sheen. The flowers are composed of light- to mid-blue and the leaves a great olive green. The fabric is semi-sheer. Pre-washed.
