In addition to her Intensive Study Program in Fashion Design, Sarah offers individual instruction. From sewing and construction techniques to fitting, from design to pattern development, from fabric selection to handling specific fabrics, Sarah will focus the sessions on whatever aspect of sewing and design that will help your sewing be successful and personally rewarding. She has privately instructed young children learning to sew, teens preparing to apply to college-level fashion design programs, home sewers who sew as a hobby, and sewing professionals who have their own businesses.

Whatever your level and interest, Sarah is happy to offer her expertise to help you achieve your goals. Meet with her on an "as-needed" basis, or have her create a curriculum for you. She charges by the hour for private instruction ($60.00 per hour) in her studio in Sparks, Maryland, which is in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Arrangements can also be made for lessons to be taught elsewhere. Sessions can be however long or short you need.
